Masahiro Sakurai’s Purple And Yellow Chair Theory Has Been Solved

In the previous Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Directs this year, we saw director Masahiro Sakurai with a purple chair and yellow chair in the background.

Many people speculated that the purple and yellow chairs were hinting something, such as Waluigi’s inclusion in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Unfortunately, that turned out to be false as the chair theory has been solved by a Reddit user alligator1779.

It appears that the chairs represent the two antagonists of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The purple chair represents the Dark boss Dharkon, while the yellow chair represents the Light boss Galeem.
