Masuda Could Have Hinted Sword And Shield’s Next Pokemon Reveal
Pokemon Sword and Shield producer Junichi Masuda posted two photos on his personal Twitter account today that many fans suspect is a hint to the next Pokemon reveal.
In his tweet, Masuda revealed he’s currently at Washington D.C. and asked fans to guess what’s resting on the tree:
みんな、おはよう!
ワシントンは-13時間の時差で、いま14日水曜日6:30PMです!
ワシントン大聖堂行ってきたよ!
木の上にいるの分かるかな? pic.twitter.com/E1kMi1ga41— 増田順一@Pokémon (@Junichi_Masuda) August 14, 2019
The correct answer is a squirrel:
正解は、、、
ワシントン大聖堂の前の木にしがみついてるリス🐿がいました!!
リスと書いてくれたみんなおめでとう🎉🎉

Pokemon fans then guessed that the next Pokemon reveal could be tied to the squirrel-like Pokemon that was spotted on a jacket in one of the first Pokemon Sword and Shield trailers:
