Medabots Classic Hitting Nintendo 3DS In Japan

Rocket Company is jumping into the retro collection game with Medabots Classic, a collection of retro Medabots titles heading exclusively to Nintendo 3DS.

Medabots Classic was first revealed in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu. The collection will come with 5 of the very first Medabots games released on Game Boy and Game Boy Color. The list of titles can be found below.

  • Medabots (Game Boy, 1997)
  • Medabots 2 (Game Boy Color, 1999)
  • Medabots 3 (Game Boy Color, 2000)
  • Medabots 4 (Game Boy Color, 2001)
  • Medabots 5: Susutake Mura no Tenkousei (Game Boy Color, 2001)

In typical Medabots fashion, Medabots Classic will be released in two different versions – Kabuto and Kuwagata. Each version will be available for 4,800 yen. A limited edition which comes with an illustration book, OST, and the game itself will be released at the same time for 12,000 yen.

Unfortunately no release date was revealed, but we should be hearing about it soon.
