It seems that the adventure merchant simulation game, Mineko’s Night Market, won’t be releasing anytime soon.
According to a Meowza Games, Mineko’s Night Market release date will be pushed back further. Previously revealed during the first Nindies Direct, the adventure simulation game is planned to arrive early 2019. That would not be the case any longer as the game’s development is now taking a bit longer than originally planned.
Mineko’s Night Market will be coming first onto Nintendo Switch, featuring gameplay mechanics such as haggling, sewing, raising a cat, and so on.
Here’s an overview of the game:
Mineko’s Night Market is a narrative-driven adventure/merchant simulation game about crafting crafts, eating eats, and… catting cats.
You play as Mineko, a curious girl who has just arrived at her new home on a struggling superstitious Japanese-inspired island at the base of Mount Fugu. The locals on the island worship the Sun Cat, Abe. What was always thought to be a long-told myth has the town puzzled, as sightings of Abe have begun to surface among the residents of the island in recent days.
