Mexican Nintendo Icon Gus Rodríguez Has Passed Away

Gus Rodríguez, a big promoter of Nintendo in Mexico and Latin America, has passed away on April 10, 2020.

Rodríguez was a very popular icon in the video game industry in Latin America. In the 1990s, he helped to advance the spread of Nintendo through his TV show, Nintendomania, as well as the Club Nintendo magazine. Rodríguez was seen as a role model by millions of children and will be sorely missed.
