Mike Tyson Shames Nintendo For Not Including Him In Punch Out For NES Online
It seems that boxing legend Mike Tyson is not happy with Nintendo’s recent re-release of Punch Out on NES Nintendo Switch Online starring Mr Dream!
Mike Tyson has decided to publicly speak out on Twitter that the original NES game that fans love just isn’t the same without him appearing.
Check it out below:
mr dream? everyone tell @NintendoAmerica who they think of when they hear punch out pic.twitter.com/2j51PLt0Em

This is quite understandable as Mike Tyson is a very well known boxer which is why Punch Out was well known back in the day.
Unfortunately, getting the license to use his likeness in the re-release would have likely cost Nintendo a lot more money than they would earn earn which is why it likely didn’t happen.
However, he did not even play his version of the game until 2013 (which was around 26 years after the games original release) which means it is quite strange he has this much of an attachment to the game.
If we have any more information to share we will cover it here at NintendoSoup so stay tuned for more!
