Today an interesting but minor discovery has been made in Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee.
Pokemon fansite PLDH has realized that the mini sprites (pixel art used to show Pokemon in a party, box, battle selection screen, etc) have been modified in Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee.
The modifications are obviously for the best – the mini sprites are looking more detailed than before, so it’s an improvement across the board. It’s a good time to change them due to the Nintendo Switch’s higher resolution screen.
Below you can find comparisons between the old and new mini sprites. The new mini sprites were spotted on the Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee train in Tokyo.
