It looks like Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban! is still blazing ahead and smashing new milestones for the series in Japan!
Konami recently shared that the game’s total sales (both digital and physical) have now crossed 2.5 million copies, ever since its Japanese launch on 19 November 2020! In response to this achievement, the company tweeted yet another message to thank fans, as seen below:
The game’s sales were last reported to have crossed 2 million copies in Early January – meaning that it sold around 500,000 more copies since the past month. As it stands, it looks like the title is far from losing momentum!
Presently, there are no plans to localize Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban! for the west. We’ll report back if that changes in the future.
