Earlier this month, Konami reported that Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban! had crossed a big milestone of 1 million copies in combined shipments and digital sales. Well, it looks like the game’s explosive success is far from done!
Konami recently shared that the game’s total shipments and digital sales have now surpassed a total of 1.5 million copies, ever since its Japanese launch on 19 November 2020! Meanwhile, the publisher also confirmed that at least one million of these shipments have already been directly sold to consumers.
In response to this achievements, the company tweeted messages to thank fans, as seen below:
Presently, there are no plans to localize Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban! for the west. We’ll report back if that changes in the future.
