Monolith Soft, the studio behind titles in the Xenoblade Chronicles series, has confirmed their involvement in Mario Kart World.

The company said on the game’s launch day that they were involved in field design and character design of the game. Considering the scope of Mario Kart World this shouldn’t come as a surprise, as Monolith Soft was also involved in the development of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
