Monster Hunter Rise Heading To Playstation And Xbox, Ending Switch Console Exclusivity
Following its release on PC earlier this year, Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Rise will be releasing on more consoles soon.
As announced on Twitter, the latest title in the Monster Hunter series will be launching for Playstation, Xbox, and Game Pass on January 20th 2023, with the expansion pack Sunbreak following later in the Spring.
This announcement marks the end of game’s console exclusivity on Switch, close to two years after its initial launch in 2021. Unfortunately, it seems that these new releases will not support cross-play or cross-progression with the existing Switch and PC versions.
The gates to Kamura are opening up for even more Hunters! Monster Hunter Rise comes to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, Game Pass, PS5, and PS4 on Jan 20!
