Capcom has shared some new details about what players will need to dive into the Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion when it launches in June.
Firstly, it has been revealed that the Sunbreak expansion will be 13GB in size at launch, meaning that players will have to clear enough storage space on their Switch so they can download and play the update. In addition, Capcom has also confirmed that players who do not purchase Sunbreak will still have access to the Item Packs and Grooming Tickets that will be introduced, as well as all the balance changes that weapons will receive.
Secondly, Capcom has also confirmed that players will need to fulfill some in-game requirements before they can access the new content. Specifically, players will need to clear the game’s main story, including the Village Quests, Hub Quests, and the Rank 7 “Serpent Goddess of Thunder” quest. At the time of this writing, it seems that this will be the only in-game requirement for accessing the Sunbreak content.
The Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion launches on June 30th for Switch.
