Mother Russia Bleeds, a beat ’em up game set in the ruthless and cold Soviet Union, was announced for Nintendo Switch a few days ago.
While the game is heading to North America and Europe, there’s one region in the world it won’t be released in. Publisher Devolver Digital has confirmed that Mother Russia Bleeds will not be released in Australia and New Zealand, as the government disapproves of the game.
The reason behind this is not because of the Soviet theme of the game, but rather the use of drugs and sexual content in Mother Russia Bleeds. Strangely, however, the Steam version of Mother Russia Bleeds is available on Steam in both Australia and New Zealand.
