My Brother Rabbit Out On Switch Today

Artifex Mundi’s heartwarming adventure game, My Brother Rabbit, is out on the Switch eShop today.

To celebrate, a new trailer has been put out for the game.

Watch below:

My Brother Rabbit, the heartwarming adventure game from Artifex Mundi, explores children’s incredible power to cope with gloom through imagination on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac today.
Sudden illness overcomes a family’s cherished daughter. While the parents work hard to seek out the best treatment to help their child, their son takes it upon himself to help his sister cope with the cold and unfamiliar hospital. A combination of love for his sister, earnest imagination, and a beloved stuffed toy rabbit enables him to create a wondrous landscape and story to comfort her.
Through the lens of make-believe, the rabbit is a living denizen in a brilliant, surreal world. His friend flower is similarly ill, so he sets out on a voyage to help her. No obstacle can stop him on his quest to find the cure to her ailments. Clues and items necessary to progress hide behind every leaf and in every corner. Once found, these objects unlock over 30 entertaining puzzles including building fantastical vehicles to continue the rabbit’s trek.
As the rabbit edges ever closer toward his destination, the imaginary world increasingly incorporates details from the children’s true surroundings. Though the circumstances are grim and the unfamiliar hospital can feel sterile, they pull from what they see and twist it into a positive light. An aquarium becomes an aquatic adventure, and the doctor becomes a sweet bear eager to heal the flower. Perspective is everything, and their youthful eyes perpetuate hope even when the world is scary.
A melancholy score dreamt up by Arkadiusz Reikowski (Layers of Fear, Seven: The Days Long Gone) and Emi Evans (NieR: Automata, Dark Souls) accompanies My Brother Rabbit’s awe-inspiring, hand-painted vistas. Lush sights and sounds drive home how creative children can be when creating entire worlds in their noggins. With no spoken dialogue or written words throughout, the ethereal soundtrack and the universal of languages of love and commitment guide players on this magical quest.
“As strange as the pretend world is in My Brother Rabbit, children’s innate ability to perceive the world in amazing ways is very real,” said Łukasz Sałata, lead artist at Artifex Mundi. “Our own children helped us create the game, and we are ecstatic to finally share their creativity with players.”
My Brother Rabbit is available for $14.99 in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Turkish on Nintendo Switch, Steam, Windows Store, Mac App Store, GOG, Humble Store, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One now.
