My Nintendo Store Japan Runs Out Of Nintendo Switch Amid Shortages

Bad news – My Nintendo Store, Nintendo’s official online store in Japan, has ran out of the Nintendo Switch.

As of February 12, 2020, the store no longer has any Nintendo Switch systems in stock. This includes both the old model and longer battery life model, as well as all customizable Joy-Con sets. The only systems left for purchase are the Nintendo Switch Lite systems:

This shouldn’t come as a surprise as many retailers in Japan have ran out of Nintendo Switch systems last week, presumably due to the nCoV-2019 outbreak affecting production.
