It seems like Game Freak is still working on some graphical improvements for the upcoming Pokemon game this November!
Over on Twitter, keen-eyed @Mucrush has pointed out that graphical improvements can be seen on the recently released Pokemon Sword and Shield trailer. He compared the specific battlefield below from the July 8 Pokemon trailer versus the February 27 Pokemon Direct footage and has arrived to the following observations:
– Better ground texture (more detailed)
– They added a hill behind the brick fence
– They added more trees and moved some
– A few new details added the hill on the right
Additionally, Leon’s render has apparently seen some changes as well, as shown below:
These changes could be an indication that Game Freak is still hard at work doing some modifications to improve Pokemon Sword and Shield’s overall look. We can probably see some major graphical overhaul once the final product has been released. And we hope the final outcome delivers to somehow meet the fans’ expectations.
