Last year, the speedrunning community set a new world record for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time –clocking in at 16:58. Well, it looks like that achievement has now been left in the dust!
Lozoots, another speedrunner specializing in the N64 game, recently set a new Any% world record by completing it in just 12 minutes and 59 seconds! This was thanks to a new glitch which Lozoots used to warp directly into the game’s credits from Kokori Forest, thus skipping most of the game!
You can check it out the insane skip in action below:
Will anyone else be able to beat this record? We’ll just have to wait and see what the speedrunning community cooks up in the future!
