Next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighter Presentation Reportedly Postponed Due To Coronavirus Concerns
Been waiting eagerly to hear about the next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC fighter? Well, we might have some unfortunate news for you.
According to a new leak of his regular column in Weekly Famitsu, the next Fighter Pass presentation for the game has reportedly been delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak. Namely, if someone in the building were to test positive for the disease – development would halt.
Sakurai had plans to present information about new fighter(s) to a publisher(s), but that's been put on hold now.
If someone at the office is found to have COVID-19, then the whole building would be shut down and development would be put on hold.

Hoewever, Sakurai apparently states that Nintendo could still go ahead with an announcement. Sadly, fans will just have to wait and see what alternative the company comes up with, if this is true.
For now, we urge all readers to take this leak with a grain of salt – as the full column isn’t available yet. Stay tuned for any updates on this matter in the future.
In the meantime, we wish Sakurai and his team the best of health – and to stay safe from the infection.
