Nintendo has put up a statement on their official Japanese website concerning the Ring Fit Adventure shortages that have continued in Japan.
The company apologized to customers for the inconvenience and shortages caused, and promised that they will ramp up production to meet demand. The restocks are expected to be delivered to retailers by the end of the year. Nintendo also advised customers to talk to their nearest retailer for more information on back-orders and stock availability.
This news shouldn’t come as a surprise as Japan has been suffering from Ring Fit Adventure shortages in the last couple of weeks, though Nintendo’s acknowledgement of the situation is something new.
On another note, My Nintendo Store Japan has started to offer pre-orders for Ring Fit Adventure that lacks a Game Card but comes with a download code instead. The bundle is expected to ship in mid December 2019.
