Nintendo Calls Mario “Merio” On Official Game Packaging By Accident

It appears that there is a rare Super Mario Bros. Wonder misprint in Brazil.

On the back of the misprint, the description for Bubble Mario contains a typo – Mario is spelled as “Merio”. Apparently, the mistake was quickly identified by Nintendo and future prints corrected this mistake, making copies of the game with this mistake a very valuable collectible. A seller has listed it for USD399.99 on Facebook Marketplace, over six times the game’s SRP in the US.

What do you think? Let us know in the comments.

Thanks, Assad.
