Nintendo Taiwan has announced the official opening date for Nintendo eShop in Taiwan.
The company said in a news post that the Nintendo eShop will officially launch in Taiwan on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on September 9, 2025.
When the service officially begins on September 9, players in Taiwan with their Nintendo Account setting set to “Taiwan” will be able to purchase games and DLC, download demos, and become a Nintendo Switch Online member.
Aside from Taiwan, Nintendo plans to open the Nintendo eShop in four Southeast Asian countries and Saudi Arabia in the future, but keep in mind there are no opening dates yet.
