Nintendo Files New Trademarks For Stretchmo And Kirby And The Rainbow Curse In Australia

Nintendo has filed new trademarks for two games from the WiiU/3DS era in Australia.

The trademarks were for Kirby And The Rainbow Paintbrush (AKA Rainbow Curse) for the WiiU and Fullbox (AKA Stretchmo) for the 3DS. These are notable for being brand new trademarks on top of the existing ones, meaning its not Nintendo simply renewing the old trademarks.

The timing of the trademarks has led some to speculate that Nintendo may be planning to re-release or remake the games for Switch. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
