For those of you who are waiting for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate reviews, you might have to wait longer than usual before the review hits.
According to review veteran Daan Koopman (NintenDaan), absolutely no one has received review copies for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This seems to apply to both Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Europe.
This is highly unusual as select members of the press usually receive review copies at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance. Nintendo could be sending them out later this week, but no one knows for sure.
Still, we are pretty sure certain members of the Japanese press, such as Famitsu, will have a review score ready by next week. Some speculate that the leaks could have affected Nintendo’s review policy for the media.
