Nintendo Hong Kong Has Established A New Branch In Taiwan

We have some potentially interesting news for Nintendo fans living in Taiwan.

According to Nintendo’s official website, Nintendo Hong Kong has recently opened a new branch in Taiwan. It was established earlier this month on April 7th, and lists Masashi Goro as the Director. As highlighted by Senior Analyst Daniel Ahmad, this marks the return of the Taiwan branch of Nintendo after its closure back in 2014.

The reopening of the Taiwan branch has led some to speculate this could mean a dedicated eshop or Nintendo Switch Online service could be coming to Taiwan. We will be sure to share more information as it comes.

What do you think? Let us know in the comments.

Thanks, Brandon.
