A few days ago, Nintendo shared an interesting comment with their followers on Twitter.
The company assured customers that the Nintendo Switch consoles restocking across Japan this week will be widely available across online retailers in the country. Although a reason wasn’t given, NHK News has elaborated on the reasoning behind this move.
NHK News reported that releasing the stock and pushing most of them through online sales channels is one way Nintendo hopes to stop the spread of the coronavirus, so that people will not line up outside brick-and-mortar stores and risk getting infected by the coronavirus.
