Nintendo Remained The Most-Viewed Gaming Brand On TV From July 16 – August 15

After ruling the realm of TV advertising in July, it looks like Nintendo is far from done on the platform.

According to VentureBeat, Nintendo remained the most-viewed TV brand from 16 July 2019 – 15 August 2019. Here’s a more detailed breakdown:

  • Nintendo was responsible for 206.2 million TV ad impressions generated by 10 TV spots, which aired 1,200 times.
  • most-seen ad was “Disney Channel: Summer Fun” (seen below), with 137.7 million impressions.
  • Disney Channel, Nick, and Nick Toons were three of the top impressions-generating networks for Nintendo.
  • The top impression-generating shows were SpongeBob SquarePants, The Loud House, and Big City Greens

In general, it looks like Nintendo focused more on a broad range of its multiplayer games that kids can enjoy together – such Mario Kart 8 DeluxeSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate, and more!

We’ll report back when we hear about Nintendo’s ad spending for the whole of August. Stay tuned!
