Customers at various Yodobashi Camera locations across Japan have spotted Nintendo Switch 2 game cases being lined up on the shelves on May 15, 2025, featuring games such as Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and more.
This aligns with Nintendo’s preparations with the Switch 2 launch, with 3 weeks remaining before the system comes out.
Game cases on Japanese store shelves do not contain any games, and are for the customer’s reference. The empty game case is usually exchanged for the actual product at the counter.
