Good news for those of you living in Tokyo, Japan – a Nintendo Switch 2 launch event will take place from June 5 to June 8, 2025 (10am to 8pm local time daily) at Yodobashi Akiba.

During the event, you will be able to experience various Nintendo Switch 2 games (Mario Kart World, Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour, Street Fighter 6, Hogwarts Legacy), freely touch and feel the Switch 2 hardware and accessories, and take photos with Mario and friends (photo session only on June 7 and June 8).

Please note that no Nintendo Switch 2 hardware will be sold at the event.
