Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Order Lottery Success Rates In Japan Vary From 5% To 35%
Survey results from the first two rounds of Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order lotteries conducted by retailers across Japan have been published.
In Japan, retailers have been conducting pre-order lotteries to decide who gets a chance to buy a Nintendo Switch 2. Some retailers have imposed strict requirements to prevent scalpers from getting their hands on them.
According to the results, the Nintendo Switch 2 Multi-Language System offered via My Nintendo Store had the highest success rate at 56.7%, whereas the second pre-order lottery conducted by Amazon Japan had the lowest success rate at 4.7%.
Generally speaking, it seems that retailers that imposed strict requirements had higher success rates in the 20% to 35% range, while those that did not have any requirements are mostly in single digit percentage range (5% – 9%).
