Nintendo has published their latest fiscal report, sharing details on their projections for the current fiscal year ending March 31, 2026.

The company estimates to sell 15 million Nintendo Switch 2 hardware and 45 million Nintendo Switch 2 software in the current fiscal year. As for Nintendo Switch hardware, they are projecting a 58.3% decrease from the prior fiscal year (10.8 million units) to this fiscal year (4.5 million units), and for Nintendo Switch software, a 32.4% decrease from 155.41 million to 105 million units is expected.

Nintendo also shared that they will count Nintendo Switch 2 Edition physical releases as Nintendo Switch 2 software sales units, and its digital versions to be Nintendo Switch software sales units.
