Good news for Nintendo fans in Saudi Arabia – AIC, the Nintendo distributor in the country, has confirmed that online services, such as Nintendo eShop and Nintendo Switch Online, are coming to Nintendo Switch 2 sometime in the future.

While a release date for both online services hasn’t been penciled in yet, further details will be provided at a later date. Saudi Arabia is the sixth new market to get online services on Nintendo Switch 2, following announcements for Taiwan and four other Southeast Asian markets.

Nintendo Switch 2 is scheduled to launch on June 5, 2025 in Saudi Arabia.
