Nintendo Switch Crosses 152 Million Units Sold Lifetime, Jamboree Was The Bestselling Switch Game Last Fiscal Year
Nintendo has shared new information on how Nintendo Switch hardware and software performed in the last fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, as well as its overall lifetime performance.
According to Nintendo, the Nintendo Switch has sold 152.12 million units of hardware in its entire lifespan, and 1.39123 billion units of software.
In terms of how the platform performed in the last fiscal year, Switch hardware sold 10.8 million units, a 31.2% drop compared to the fiscal year prior to it, and Switch software sold 155,41 million units, a drop from 199.67 million units from the prior fiscal year.
Despite the decrease, new and evergreen first-party titles continued to perform strongly:

Super Mario Party Jamboree – 7 million
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom – 3.7 million
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door – 1.9 million
Mario & Luigi Brothership – 1.6 million
Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD – 1.6 million
Donkey Kong Country Returns HD – 1 million
Evergreen titles
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 6.2 million
Nintendo Switch Sports – 3.2 million
Super Mario Bros. Wonder – 2.9 million
Animal Crossing: New Horizons – 2.5 million
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 2 million
Another thing worth mentioning is that the number of active playing users on Nintendo Switch dropped slightly from 129 million to 128 million in the last fiscal year.
