Nintendo Switch hit by Patent Troll Lawsuit

You probably heard of the Nintendo Switch, but have you heard of a Wikipad? No? But according to Gamevice, the Nintendo Switch has copied a couple of ideas from their Wikipad.

The idea in question here is the removable nature of the Joy-Cons from the main unit, one of the Nintendo Switch’s core feature. A similar feature of modular controls was also patented by Nintendo.

If successful in their bid, Gamevice wants the courts to halt all sales of the Nintendo Switch and have Nintendo pay for damages, something that is sure to piss Nintendo fans off.

For more on the lawsuit, you can read Engadget’s report here.
