Nintendo: There Are No Plans For A Switch Port Of The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Previously, we reported that Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma was teasing at a possible Switch port of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. However, it seems like the producer may have just been playing around, after all.

According to Eurogamer, a Nintendo spokesperson has decisively shut down the rumor. Here’s what the representative had to say in response to all the speculation:

“At this time we have no plans to release The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword on Nintendo Switch.”

It looks like Nintendo fans will just have to wait some other day to re-experience the dark horse of the Zelda franchise.
