Nintendo’s Banana Rubbing Patent Has Become A Game In Super Mario Party

Earlier this year, Nintendo filed a “banana rubbing” patent featuring multiple screens interacting with each other to form an image.

With yesterday’s reveal of Super Mario Party, we finally discover that the patent is utilized for multiple unique mini games in Tabletop Mode. In one such mini game, players have to arrange two Nintendo Switch consoles in order to correctly connect images of a banana.
