Nippon Ichi Software, the company behind the Disgaea series, has published their fiscal results for the period of April to September 2019.
The company announced a 22 million yen (USD201,000) loss for the period between April to September 2019. In the same period in 2018, Nippon Ichi Software recorded 301,000,000 million yen (USD2.75 million) in profit.
The reason behind the loss isn’t because their titles aren’t selling well on Nintendo Switch, but rather, losses stemming from their smartphone business and the Disgaea IP.
