Nintendo may be bringing the gang back for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but it would seem like they are not doing the same for all the retro stages.
Speaking to Famitsu, Nintendo Treehouse’s Bill Trinen and Nate Bihldorff said that not all the stages will be returning in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate although neither mentioned which stages were the ones being cut off.
Still, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will come with a ton of stage, more than any Smash Bros. game before. So at least fans got that going for them.
