NPD Group has published their latest report for video game sales performance in the US for the month of February 2022, which includes the latest sales figures for the Switch and its competitors in the region.

In terms of console sales, NPD’s report reveals that the Switch took the crown as the best-selling console in the US during the month in terms of both dollar and unit sales. Although this pushed the Switch to obtaining the highest unit sales for gaming hardware in 2022, the PS5 still remains on top in terms of dollar sales.

NPD also shared the Top 20 best-selling games for the US in February 2022, which includes many Switch games, including Pokemon Legends Arceus at 3rd place, and the ever present Mario Kart 8 at 8th place.
