In a Game Informer interview, Octopath Traveler producer Tomoya Asano spoke about the company’s plans for Nintendo Switch.
Asano told the magazine that if Octopath Traveler sells well on Nintendo Switch, Square Enix will focus on creating new original titles for the platform. He then urges fans to purchase a Nintendo Switch and buy Octopath Traveler if they want to play more titles such as Octopath Traveler.
Later on in the interview, Asano mentioned he’s also currently working on multiple titles for Nintendo Switch, which are still coming to the system whether or not Octopath Traveler is successful. These games will be announced in the future.
