Nintendo and Western Digital have announced a “global partnership” to bring official licensed Nintendo Switch SanDisk microSDXC cards to the world.
According to Nintendo, the memory cards will be available in two variations, 64GB and 128GB. The 64GB packaging features Link, while the 128GB packaging features Mario.
Other than what’s mentioned above, there’s nothing stopping a customer from purchasing other types of memory cards to use on Nintendo Switch.
The Nintendo Switch SanDisk Memory Cards are planned to launch in October 2017 at select retailers. No prices have been announced yet.
