Only The American Version Of Tales Of Vesperia: Definitive Edition Requires An Additional Download

A few hours ago, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced limited editions for Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition in North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia, launching on January 11.

One thing that many people observed was that the European and Southeast Asian box art do not have the infamous “download required” notice, whereas only the American one does.

The official Tales of Twitter account has clarified that as the European version of the game is installed on a 16GB Game Card, it doesn’t require an additional download. Now, as to why Bandai Namco is using a smaller Game Card for the American version, we have absolutely no idea.

What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.

UPDATE: Looks like the American version is getting the 16GB Game Card after all!
