Over 1 Million Nintendo Switch Systems Have Been Sold In Spain
Nintendo Iberica has put out a press release celebrating some major sales milestones for the Nintendo Switch in Spain.
According to the Nintendo subsidiary, lifetime Nintendo Switch system family sales in Spain have reached 1,036,000 units. The Switch is also poised to become Spain’s bestselling video game console of 2019, thanks to the launch of the Switch Lite. 332,000 Nintendo Switch system family consoles were sold in 2019.
Here’s the list of bestselling Nintendo Switch titles in Spain:
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- Splatoon 2
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Last but not least, Nintendo Iberica reconfirmed that Pokemon Sword and Shield had the best launch for a Nintendo Switch title in Spain. Over 125,000 copies were sold over its first weekend. It had the second best launch for a video game in 2019.
