As of July 22, 2018, over 5 million Nintendo Switch titles have been sold at retail in Japan.
This number comes from Japanese sales tracker Media Create, the company that releases sales data for the video game market every week.
It’s an impressive figure given that there were no major releases such as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate or Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee in the first half of 2018.
