Earlier this week, the developers behind Overcooked! 2 began teasing some sort of Lunar New Year content for the game. As it turns out, we didn’t have to wait too long to learn what they have in store!

The game’s developers revealed today that a ‘Spring Festival’ free update will be heading to the game on 23 January 2020. While details are sparse, the announcement promised that players would be able to experience new kitchens (i.e. levels).

From tomorrow (23rd Jan) you'll be able to get into the Year of the Rat spirit by scampering around new kitchens FOR FREE!
