Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs Shutting Down Later This Year
Back in May 2024, Bandai Namco released Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs a Switch version of the 64-player PAC-MAN battle royale game previously launched on Google Stadia.
Now, barely a year later, Bandai Namco has announced they will be pulling the plug on the game entirely. As announced on social media, it will be pulled from the eshop in November 2025, and will be shut down entirely in December.
PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs update:
We’d like to share an important update regarding PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs. Product sales will end on 1 November 2025. Gameplay services will end on 31 December 2025, and the game will no longer be playable.

The nature of the game as a paid online-only experience means that owners will have no way to continue enjoying it when the shutdown comes around. Currently, it seems there are no plans for an offline version to be released.
