Recently, after Nintendo announced Paper Mario: The Origami King for Nintendo Switch, a listing for the game was made public with pre-orders available on the Nintendo eShop.
However, from this listing, dataminers found out that the game had been uploaded to the eShop around 2 weeks ago which means the game already finished development by that time as Nintendo generally sits on finished products before officially announcing them.

This suggests that future announcements from Nintendo during the summer may continue to be last minute and shadow dropped.
