In a post on their official Twitter account, Paramount Spain references a character named “Longclaw” in relation to the upcoming Sonic movie. We have included the Tweet below along with a rough translation of its contents:
«Recuerdo que #Longclaw siempre me decía: "Sonic, ve sin prisa pero sin pausa". Nunca llegué a entenderlo, la verdad. ¿Y vosotros qué frase recordáis que os dijeran a menudo?» @fenometrix @Rafenton00 @Someone0049

According to Sonic news source Tails’ Channel, “Longclaw” is the name of a rumored new Owl character that will be appearing in the film, though they could not divulge much more details beyond this.

Fans are currently speculating that “Longclaw” may be a new version of the “Old Man Owl” character from the 90s Anime OVA, or perhaps some brand new character created exclusively for the new live-action film.
