Amidst the recent announcement of throwback devices like the Playstation Classic, it almost feels like any retro console can be revived today by their respective companies.
Naturally, someone decided to take a jab at the failed Phillips CD-i – often considered one of Nintendo’s biggest mistakes. That ‘someone’ was none other than former Nintendo Magazine journalist Chris Scullion, whom showed off his hilarious mock-up of the ‘CDi Classic’.
Surprisingly, Phillips actually responded to the tweets that followed!
It’s good to see Phillips still having a healthy sense of humor, despite being reminded of its past failings. Hopefully Nintendo is laughing at this little joke as well.
