Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans won’t have to wait too much longer for the game’s newest, greenest fighter.

According to a recent update when opening the game, the Piranha Plant should soon be available sometime in February 2019. The notification that announces this release date is below. As we previously reported, only those that register the game or buy it digitally before 31 January 2019 will be eligible to receive the fighter for free.

Hopefully we won’t see any delays for this brand-new character. We’ll report back when Nintendo announces a specific release date.
