Pirates Banned From Using Game-Key Cards On Nintendo Switch 2
Earlier this week, pirates using a flash card for Nintendo Switch games called “MiG Switch” were shocked to find out that their Nintendo Switch 2 was banned from using online services.
Now, it appears that systems banned for piracy reasons have also been banned from using Game-Key Cards. Apparently, when a Game-Key Card is inserted into a banned Nintendo Switch 2, the software license check isn’t performed, so the user is unable to play or download the data for the game on the Game-Key Card.
Given that Nintendo has the ability to track down pirates and ban their consoles, it’s best not to use tools that are a gateway to piracy on Nintendo Switch 2.
